David Ragsdale is a New York based Creative Director who specializes in being a creative partner to brands, agencies and teams of any size. With the ability to act as an agency or provide senior leadership to an internal team, being an all-in-one versatile partner sets him apart. 


Working with some of the worlds most recognizable brands in fashion, life style, and beauty, his creative is distinct and produces results.  He believes effective creative should be born out of the tension between the essence of what a brand stands for and culturally relevant strategic insights of today.  Always taking into consideration changing landscape of content needs and budget challenges.  Knowing that concepts must be able to tell a compelling emotional story that can be broad enough to populate 360 marketing plans.

With 15+ years of experience Ragsdale has been mentored by some of the industry’s very best. During his early years in New York City he created works along side Trey Laird, Hans Dorsinville, and Robert Lussier.  Who taught him to push boundaries and pursue daring creative ideas with fearlessness, restraint, and taste.

For the past six years Ragsdale has been contracted at luxury boutique agencies and brands such as Laird+Partners, Chandelier Creative, SEW Branded, The Style Council Paris, Calvin Klein, Stuart Weitzman, and Wednesday Agency.
In addition he works as the creative lead for his own clients including Todd Snyder, Clinique Education, and Coty Fragrance.

Ragsdale also creates works from his art studio ‘The Ragsy’.  The Ragsy has been commissioned privately for custom works and shoots for MTV/ Logo TV, Coty Fragrances, and Swarovski.
